7 Random Things about me on a Dare

1. I really like quiet. I would much rather have quiet than music or noise or talking. I work with a man who never stops talking and I think its disgusting.

2. I love homemade gifts. Things painted or sewed or created by a friend or relative is much better than store bought for the most part.

3. I love flannel pajammas.

4. I miss my mother more than anyone knows.

5. I almost never get nausea. I can't even remember the last time I threw up. Delightful I know : )

6. My favorite color has always been purple, for as long as I can remember. I love pink too.

7. I have been dying my hair since I was 28.

Its almost Thanksgiving!

We decided since Amber is due in January and I work full time that we should either eat out or have food catered. We went to a food tasting at the Fresh Market and decided it was really good sooooooo thats what we are having. Of course we will still bring the olives and the cheeseball. This year it will be a Karissa's house. We are just getting so many people that it is hard to make a dinner for 20!

The Woodrow Williams Family

Both of my parents were from Ogden, Utah. All four of us children were born there too. My dad, Woody, bought a farm in Rupert, Idaho and thats where we were all raised. He cleared the farm of rocks and sagebrush and then planted potatoes, grain, and hay. We had a few cows and chickens and always a huge garden. I sure do miss the tomatoes, corn and new potatoes!

Dad was always the best farmer and his crops were the first ones planted in the whole area and the first one harvested. He taught us a wonderful work ethic. Dad has a great sense of humor and is always laughing. He and Mom, Claire, worked on Temple Square as missionaries in the visitor's center. Dad always had the most golden contacts because he was such a good ol' farmer and everyone loved that he was so unpretentious.

Mom was a secretary for the Bureau of Reclaimation and she kept us afloat in lean times. She was a wonderful mother and I miss her dearly. She taught me that I could do anything. I often wish I had been a better daughter to her. I was a tad rebellious and often acted embarrased to be around her. I was a rotten teenager. I am so blessed that my girls would walk down the Mall with me arm in arm and never acted embarassed.

My Brothers

Left to Right: Bob, Jerry, Me with my two brothers.

I was lucky enough to have two elder brothers, Bob and Jerry. Both of my brothers were good baseball players and we would go to the Little League World Series. Jerry was a catcher and honestly, I can't remember where Bob played but I think he pitched. I was more interested in the snack bar. There were lots of baseball games on our front lawn. Jerry grew up and was drafted to the Army during Vietnam. Bob served a mission to Canberra, Australia. He was blessed enough to have an actual miracle happen on his mission. One of his investigators were healed of deafness and the man had his hearing restored. Jerry was always sensitive to other people's needs and one time when everyone was going to town except Mom, he asked Mom if she would be ok and not be lonely alone. He offered to stay with her if she would be lonely. What a guy. Bob turned out to be an excellent businessman. Jerry lives in a rest home in Salt Lake City. I will be happy for the ressurection so Jerry will have his full faculties. War did a number on him. All in all they were good brothers.

I LOVE RELIEF SOCIETY!!!

Wow, you have had lots of jobs!

Chance and I were watching TV when a Chinese show came on. It was all in Chinese and I recognized some of the words I knew. He asked how I knew those works and I told him that I had worked in a few Chinese Restaurants. He asked what other jobs I had and I told him about working for the Utah Jazz and the Salt Lake Golden Eagles Hockey team. He was totally impressed. Then I made him a bean burrito and told him that reminded me of when I was a lunch lady. He said I was crazy about all the places I had worked. So I am going to list all the jobs I have done. In highschool, I worked at Pearson's Hardware in the Cottonwood Mall in Salt Lake City. Then at night I worked at the Salt Palace for the Jazz and Golden Eagles. I was an usherette but it was a prestigious job and I actually had to model for it. (1970) I worked one day at a lawnmower place, cleaning the mowers etc. (it was way too boring) Then on to a secretary for Economy Office Furniture, waitress at a chinese restaurant, waitress a steakhouse in Smithfield Utah, The Sizzler steakhouse in Spokane Washington, The Hindquarter in Spokane, I was the first woman they let waittress there. They had all waiters. I made soooo much money there. I was also a dessert chef and made all the desserts for the restaurant. A Restaurant in Lansing Michigan called the Pour House, made even more money there. In Maryland, I waitressed at a place called Widow Brown's. I made at leat $200 a night there in tips. We moved to Kennewick, Washington and I worked at a place called Klinkerdaggers, Bickerstaff& Petts Public House as a waitress and bookkeeper. Then I became a lunch lady at Southgate Elementary. I then became a teachers aide. I worked for 1 week at Roses department store in Vermont at night. I then worked for Food Lion for 11 years as a cashier and bookeeper. I worked at Chic-fil-a as a cashier and now as a office manager with Prohome. Oh and I taught little kids gymnastics in order for my daughter, Heather to attend gymnastic school, I also cleaned gyms for her tuition in Vermont. When do I get to retire???????

Bradys Travel

After we married Randy finished up his college at BYU and Utah State. We then moved to Spokane Washington, Lansing, Michigan,Bowie, Maryland, Kennewick, Washington, Burlington Vermont and Cary, North Carolina. This was because Randy was climbing the career ladder. It was fun to see lots of different places and each place holds wonderful memories. I had 7 children along the way. They are my pride and joy.

Who I am

I was raised on a farm in Rupert, Idaho. I had the best parents and a happy childhood. Here is a picture of me when I was 8 and when I was a Sophmore in Highschool.
